Unstoppable confirms five filings and sixteen TLD plans that will not proceed
Unstoppable Domains says five applications were submitted for the 2026 round. Fourteen previously announced TLD plans will not proceed, and its refund page accounts for two more.

Unstoppable Domains says it submitted five top-level domains during the 2026
application window: .agi, .gram, .hub, .robot, and
.xmr. It says it will continue working through the application process on
behalf of the partners behind those TLDs.
Sixteen strings are now recorded as not proceeding on Unstoppable’s own word. Fourteen of them come from the 25 August announcement below; the other two come from a refund page the company has been keeping since September 2025.
Fourteen plans will not proceed
Five partner TLDs are not proceeding with ICANN applications: .agent,
.anime, .brave, .privacy, and .twin. Unstoppable says the
brand partner in each case chose to focus on Web3 only.
Nine Unstoppable namespaces are also not proceeding: .bitcoin,
.blockchain, .crypto, .dao, .nft, .polygon,
.unstoppable, .wallet, and .zil. The company says ICANN’s
planned integration rules would require every name in an integrated namespace
to be registered in DNS and paid for, with registrant data disclosed. It says it
will not impose that requirement on more than four million existing Web3 names.
Two more on the refund page
The remaining two are not part of the 25 August announcement. Unstoppable keeps a refund page, published 10 September 2025 and last updated 16 February 2026, whose section “Refunds for Web3 Domains Not Advancing to ICANN” says the partner TLDs listed under it “have confirmed they will not be pursuing ICANN participation and are eligible for refunds”.
.manga and .secret sit in the second of its two lists, “Partner TLDs
Previously Eligible for a Refund (window closed)”. The closed window is the
refund window, not the ICANN decision. That list carries no date; the dated list
beside it, “as of February 16th, 2026”, covers eleven different strings. Neither
string was on the page when it was published, so both decisions became public
somewhere between 10 September 2025 and the page’s last update. The tracker
records them at 16 February 2026 as the latest date it can prove, marks both
Not proceeding, and attaches an archived screenshot to each record.
The 2024 intention recorded for .farms appears in neither status update,
so it remains at its original evidentiary weight; it is not treated as a
confirmed filing.
What changed in the tracker
The earlier claims remain visible as historical evidence, with their original
sources and wording. The eleven affected strings already present here are now
marked Not proceeding and no longer contribute a current claimant or a
contention signal. .blockchain, .polygon, and .unstoppable were not
previously recorded as claims, so this article does not create application
records for them. The two earlier partner decisions described above are excluded
from current arithmetic on the same lifecycle basis.
Five rows stop appearing as contested public claims because only one current
claimant remains. Four come from the August update: .agent, .bitcoin,
.dao, and .nft. The fifth is .manga, where Oinkadot’s separate claim is
now the only current one. The other applicants’ records are unchanged.
The five filing confirmations do not all belong under Unstoppable Domains as the
applicant. .gram remains recorded under Telegram, and .xmr under Cake Wallet,
because the earlier sources name those parties as applying. .agi, .hub,
and .robot remain attributed to Unstoppable as the public claimant until the
applicant of record is established.
