Rezolve Ai Launches Rezolve Pay to Enable Transactions Between Consumer AI Agents and Merchants

Rezolve Ai (NASDAQ: RZLV), an infrastructure platform specializing in agentic commerce, has introduced Rezolve Pay, a technology designed to allow consumer-facing artificial intelligence agents to communicate and complete transactions directly with merchant-side AI systems. The newly unveiled system aims to bridge the gap between a consumer's preferred AI assistant and a retailer's payment and merchant infrastructure, converting AI-guided user intent into completed sales.

The announcement follows remarks made by Naga Samineni, CEO of Rezolve Pay, during Rezolve Ai's Investor Day on October 6, where he outlined the technology's position on the merchant's side of the transaction. Rezolve's strategy is to provide the underlying commerce and payment rails that allow retailers and brands to serve automated customers, regardless of which consumer AI assistant they choose to use.

The Scale of the AI Commerce Opportunity

Integrating AI into the retail landscape represents a significant shift in how commerce is conducted. Globally, the retail industry generates approximately $30 trillion in annual sales. According to estimates by McKinsey, AI agents are projected to mediate between $3 trillion and $5 trillion of global consumer commerce by the year 2030.

As consumers increasingly delegate shopping tasks—such as finding products, comparing options, and finalizing orders—to virtual assistants, merchants face a growing commercial necessity to accommodate these automated shoppers. Rezolve Ai’s technology aims to address this need by sitting on the merchant's side of the interaction. When a consumer agent makes a request, Rezolve's merchant-side systems translate that request into a structured order, and Rezolve Pay connects that order to its proprietary payment rails.

How It Works: The Meta Muse Demonstration

To showcase the capabilities of the platform, Rezolve Ai released a demonstration video illustrating an interaction between Meta's Muse, acting as the consumer's AI agent, and a coffee shop equipped with Rezolve's merchant technology.

In the demonstration, a customer delegates a coffee purchase to the Muse assistant. Muse then communicates directly with the merchant's Rezolve Pay agent to place the online order for in-store collection. The transaction is finalized seamlessly, showing how agentic commerce can bridge online digital intent with physical retail locations.

While Meta’s Muse was featured in the demonstration, Rezolve Ai emphasized that the underlying Rezolve Pay architecture is open and designed to support transactions with any compatible consumer AI assistant. The technology's potential applications span across various retail models, including traditional e-commerce, click-and-collect, and physical in-store environments.

Tracking and Attributing AI-Driven Sales

A key feature of the Rezolve Pay system is its ability to provide merchants with clear visibility into the specific AI systems driving their sales. In the demonstration, the transaction receipt identifies Muse as the purchasing agent.

This level of attribution provides a foundation for merchants to track which AI channels are successfully generating orders and to understand how purchasing behavior evolves as agentic commerce grows. By implementing this infrastructure, brands and retailers can convert AI-driven visibility and product recommendations into completed sales while maintaining direct control over their products, commercial terms, and fulfillment processes.
