A Denver nonprofit that says it will operate .self as a public good, giving
every person one subdomain at no cost and refusing parking, squatting and
resale.
TWO STATEMENTS, NOT ONE. This is the unusual shape of the record and it is worth
stating plainly. HCCF names the string in a pamphlet published in June, which
speaks only of intent. HCCF confirms a filing in a post published seven minutes
after the window closed, which names no string at all. Both are the
organization’s own words, and no single source read here does both jobs. The
foundation ended the filing post with “More information soon about what’s
coming!” and has published nothing since.
The application-count field is left empty on purpose. The filing post says “our
application is in”, singular, but a count stated that loosely is not a count.
