A contention set is ICANN's, taken from its Reveal Day file. ICANN publishes an updated list on String Confirmation Day.
Four of these, .biotech, .pharma, .therapy and .wellness, are Radix’s own
Bio and Health category. .bewell comes from TLD1, whose announcement pairs it
with .etc as its two applications.
Nine more joined when ICANN published its list. .meditative is defined in its application as
something that brings deep relaxation and calm. The other eight are named only
as replacement strings, so no application defines them, and they are here as
plain words: .arzt and .pflege are German for doctor and nursing care, and
.dentistry, .heal, .homecare, .ivf, .peptides and .therapist need no
translation.
An applicant’s own reading decides. .zen is not here: Radix applied for it and
files it under Culture. .praxis is not here either, because its application
defines the word as putting a theory into practice, and .counseling is defined
as guidance and advice in general. .well has three applicants, and two of them
define it as something done in a good way, so it stays in excluded.
A string that is a company’s own name is left out of every group on this
tracker. .abion, .adventhealth, .biontech, .carecredit, .gehealthcare,
.medley, .meditativemind and .novocare contain a keyword and are names, so
they are in excluded too.
.comedy and .socialmedia contain “med” and are not medical.
